Authentic Vintage 1934 S.S. “Orontes” Ocean Liner Shore Excursion Booklet – Cruise to the Fjords of Norway
Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible piece of pre-war maritime history. This original, multi-page fold-out shore excursion and information program was issued to passengers traveling aboard the Orient Line luxury ship S.S. Orontes during its summer 1934 Scandinavian cruise season.
The front cover features a striking black-and-white vintage photograph of the Norwegian fjords nestled below towering mountains, complete with the iconic red Orient Line crest cleanly stamped at the top. The interior contains detailed text sections mapping out the itinerary, shore excursions, local guidelines, and historical summaries intended to guide the wealthy travelers of the era.
