Item description
Up for sale is a rare, authentic post-war theatre programme from the Glasgow Citizens’ Theatre production of “Happy As Larry”, an Irish ballad-comedy written by Donagh MacDonagh. Based on the production credits and cast, this performance dates to November 1947.
This is a wonderful piece of Scottish and Irish theatrical history. The play was staged at the historic Royal Princess’s Theatre under licensee Norman W. Duthie.
