Up for sale is a beautiful and exceptionally heavy mid-century maritime folk art display featuring a handcrafted ship built inside an original 1960s John Haig & Co. Dimple Scotch Whisky bottle. The bottle is the highly sought-after large size, instantly recognizable by its distinct three-sided pinched glass shape. Inside rests a meticulously detailed miniature three-masted sailing galleon with complex string rigging, sails, and bright hand-painted maritime flags. This particular bottle bears the official UK Registered Design Number 900986, dating the glass strike specifically to the 1960s era.
