An original, rare vintage New York Yankees ticket stub from the historic 1973 baseball season at Yankee Stadium. 1973 was a highly significant year in Yankees history, marking the very first season the team officially adopted the phrase “General Admission” on their grandstand stubs. This was also the final year before the stadium closed for its massive 1974–1975 renovation.
The front of the ticket features a bold blue stylized Yankees “Y” logo and details for game admission, alongside the $2.50 price marker and rain check terms. The reverse side lists the classic stadium liability terms and conditions, printed by the renowned National Ticket Company.

Item History
This stub was originally purchased for a home game during the 1973 American League regular season. It was saved as a keepsake by a baseball fan and has been preserved in a private sports memorabilia collection. It serves as an authentic artifact from the final chapter of the original architectural layout of Yankee Stadium.
