In addition to its theatrical history, the programme is packed with incredible late-1970s local York advertising nostalgia. It includes a full-page feature advertisement for the Garden Chinese Restaurant on Tower Street, York (advertising traditional Cantonese catering) and a beautifully styled ad for Sandringham Fine Art & Bespoke Framing on Colliergate. It is an absolute treasure for collectors of Richard Todd memorabilia, York local history, or 1970s retro advertising ephemera.
