Description
Up for sale is a beautiful vintage French maritime enamel pin badge featuring a traditional fishing trawler boat (“Chalutier”). The design features a multi-coloured hull with red, white, blue, and grey enamel work, complete with fishing flags flying at the stern.
The reverse features the authentic “FRAISSE” maker’s stamp, a historic and premium French manufacturer known for high-quality die-struck metalwork. It comes complete with its original, secure butterfly clutch attachment. An excellent and rare addition for nautical, shipping, or European pin collectors.

This badge was produced during the 1980s or 1990s pin badge collecting boom by the legendary French firm Fraisse Paris. Fraisse was renowned for striking high-quality promotional, military, and regional souvenir pins. It was originally made as a regional souvenir or maritime piece representing the French coastal fishing industry.
