Up for sale is an original vintage theatre programme for Jean Racine’s classic tragedy, Berenice, in the English translation by John Cairncross. This acclaimed production ran from May 20th to July 3rd, 1982.
The booklet features detailed actor biographies and production credits. It highlights early career performances from distinguished classical actors:
- Peter Eyre: Starring as Antiochus. Widely recognized for his roles in major feature films like Chariots of Fire and The Remains of the Day.
- Raad Rawi: Starring as Arsaces. Well-known for his extensive television and Hollywood film appearances (The Dark Knight Rises).
- Sheila Gish: Starring as Berenice (Queen of Palestine).
- Production Credits: Directed by Christopher Fettes, with design by Kandis Cook and lighting by Richard Johnson.
