Item Overview: A beautiful, authentic Royal Air Force (RAF) Officer’s Cap Badge. This high-quality insignia features the Queen’s Crown (St. Edward’s Crown), dating it to the post-1953 era.
Craftsmanship & Details:
Material: Hand-embroidered with genuine gold bullion wire and colored silks.
Central Emblem: Features the classic RAF Eagle (Albatross) in gilt metal, surrounded by a detailed laurel wreath.
Backing: Mounted on traditional black melton cloth with a clean finish.
Condition: In very good vintage condition. The gold wire remains bright, and the embroidery is intact with only minor, genuine signs of age-related wear as shown in the photos.
