First appearing in 1954 under the title “When the Bell Rings”, the mischievous schoolchild characters were renamed to The Bash Street Kids in 1956. This specific badge depicts Danny—known for his leadership traits, laziness in class, and iconic skull and crossbones attire. It was officially released as part of a licensed merchandising wave in 1991.
