Item description
This is an original vintage copy of Wrestling Review (Issue No. 21, Volume 2) from June 1979. This magazine is a fantastic historical record of the British professional wrestling scene during its absolute peak. The front cover features ‘Mighty’ John Quinn in action. Quinn was the top “heel” (villain) of the era, and this issue explicitly focuses on his highly anticipated match against the UK’s ultimate hero, Big Daddy, scheduled for June 27th at Wembley. This vintage wrestling programme from Monday, June 18th, 1979, held at Town Hall, Wembley. Promoted by Dale Martin Promotions Ltd, this is an authentic piece of history from the peak of British televised wrestling.
