This is an original vintage copy of Wrestling Review (Issue No. 21, Volume 2) from June 1979. This magazine is a fantastic historical record of the British professional wrestling scene during its most famous decade. The front cover features ‘Mighty’ John Quinn in action. Quinn was the top “heel” (villain) of the era, and this issue focuses on his highly anticipated match against the UK’s most famous wrestler, Big Daddy, scheduled for June 27th at Wembley. This vintage wrestling programme from Monday, June 18th, 1979, held at the Lewisham Concert Hall, Catford. Promoted by the iconic Dale Martin Promotions Ltd, this card features a lineup of genuine legends from the World of Sport era.
