An original vintage wrestling programme from Thursday, June 21st, 1979, held at Wirrina Stadium, Peterborough. This event was promoted by the renowned Dale Martin Promotions Ltd.
Main Event & Star Attractions:
- Featured Main Event: A rare and high-stakes £500 Return Ladder Match featuring Canadian powerhouse Mighty John Quinn vs. the masked Super Destroyer (Pete Roberts). Quinn was one of the most successful “big man” imports of the decade.
- Additional Matchups:
- Ringo Rigby (Birmingham) vs. Lucky Gordon (Ireland).
- Johnny ‘Black’ Kwango (West Africa) vs. Pat O’Sullivan (Ireland). Kwango was a massive World of Sport fan favorite known for his “headbutt” finishing move.
- Ray Victor (London) vs. ‘Pretty Boy’ Mel Stuart (Maidstone).
