Item History
The 7th Queen’s Own Hussars was a celebrated light cavalry regiment first formed in 1689. During World War I, the regiment served with distinction in India and deployed to Mesopotamia in 1917, participating in major regional actions through 1918. This specific variant features the King’s Tudor Crown (used from 1902 until 1952). The regiment operated until 1958, when it was formally amalgamated to create the Queen’s Own Hussars, making these original 7th Hussars bi-metal variants highly prized by military historians.
