Up for sale is an original, antique B.D.V. Cigarettes Silk Cloth insert from the World War I era (circa 1908–1915).This woven fabric piece beautifully displays the official regimental badge of the 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers). The crest features crossed carbines behind the Order of the Garter band inscribed with “Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense”, the royal crown, the “VI DG” initials, and the “Carabiniers” scroll at the base.These fabric premiums were popular wartime collectibles, often saved by loved ones to sew into decorative keepsake cushions and quilts. Excellent addition for military history, tobacciana, or cavalry regiment collectors.Item Details:
