Up for sale is an original, antique B.D.V. Cigarettes Silk cloth. from the World War I era (circa 1908–1915).This woven fabric insert features the detailed regimental crest, crown, and extensive battle honours of Princess Louise’s (Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders) 91st & 93rd Foot. It lists historic campaigns including South Africa, Modder River, Paardeberg, Balaklava, Sevastopol, Lucknow, and the Cape of Good Hope.These tobacco premiums were highly collectible tokens often used by families to make decorative sweetheart quilts or cushions. A fantastic piece for any militaria, tobacciana, or Scottish regiment collector.
