History
This is a genuine British military cap badge for the North Irish Horse, a historic yeomanry cavalry regiment. The highly recognizable design features the Maid of Erin winged harp topped by the King’s Tudor Crown, sitting above a tri-part scroll reading NORTH IRISH HORSE. The regiment saw extensive, decorated service as cavalry during the First World War and transitioned into a heavily armored tank unit during World War II, serving valiantly in the North African and Italian campaigns.
