This listing photo shows the reverse side of the original WW1 Lanarkshire Yeomanry cap badge. Crucially, the rear features a highly desirable official maker’s mark reading “J.R. GAUNT LONDON” crisp and clearly stamped vertically down the centre of the long slider. The back shows excellent hollow die-stamped detail behind the eagle and banner, complete with an authentic aged dark patina and genuine manufacturing characteristics.
