Item Description
Up for sale is an authentic British Army white metal cap badge belonging to the 4th and 5th Battalions of The Royal Scots, historically known as the Queen’s Edinburgh Rifles.
This specific pattern features the King’s Crown and was worn by Scottish Territorial soldiers during the First World War. The design displays the Star of the Order of the Thistle, a central thistle with the motto Nemo Me Impune Lacessit, and an infantry hunting horn at the bottom.
The badge is in excellent vintage condition with sharp details and a natural aged patina. The reverse side is complete with its two original, intact copper wire fixing loops. Please see the photos for a full look at the physical condition. It will be securely packed in bubble envelop and shipped quickly.
