Size approximately 40 mm tall and 32 mm wide and between Lug to Lug space 00 mm…I believe this to be an Original badge, in very good condition but showing genuine signs of age…Please study pictures carefully to decide.
Up for sale is a 100% original, vintage Le Régiment de Hull Canadian Army Cap Badge featuring the King’s (Tudor) Crown. This solid brass insignia includes traditional Canadian maple leaves, a walking beaver, a central roundel tower, and the regiment’s historic French motto banner reading “On Ne Passe Pas”.
Le Régiment de Hull is a distinguished French-Canadian unit based out of Quebec. During World War II, the regiment was mobilized for active service, serving in a vital home defense role in the Pacific and deploying to the Aleutian Islands during the Kiska expedition (1943) before deploying to Great Britain in 1944. This badge was contract-manufactured in England by the renowned firm J.R. Gaunt for Canadian forces serving overseas.
