This is an authentic, original vintage British Royal Air Force (RAF) Warrant Officer cap badge dating to the World War II era. Unlike the smaller, common standard airmen badges, this premium large-pattern peak cap insignia showcases a dramatic laurel spray and an imposing flying eagle strike. Struck in solid brass, it features high-relief feather detailing across both the eagle wings and the crown base. Within the Royal Air Force, Warrant Officers held a highly respected, elite rank bridging the gap between commissioned officers and non-commissioned personnel. During World War II, these large brass variants were worn on the iconic blue-grey service dress peak caps.
