Up for sale is an original vintage theatre programme from WWII 1941 WOLVERHAMPTON HIPPODROME THEATRE PROGRAMME – “HELLO AMERICA”
An original, rare World War II era theatrical programme from the Wolverhampton Hippodrome (The General Theatre Corporation Ltd). This authentic piece of wartime entertainment ephemera documents the production run for the week commencing Monday, September 1st, 1941.
Presented by Bernard Delfont Limited, this historic revue titled “Hello America” is subtitled “An Anglo-American Rhapsody in 16 Scenes” and features a stellar lineup of music hall, variety, and comedy icons of the 1940s.

• Star Lineup: Features the legendary eccentric dance trio Wilson, Keppel & Betty performing their famous sand dance routine in “Cleopatra’s Nightmare”.
• Variety Acts: Includes The Gordon Ray Yankee Clippers, Berel & Ostran (“The Saucy Couple”), Professor Nor Kiddie (“Sleight-of-Hand, or What Have You!”), The Two Valors (America’s New Style Hand Balancers), and introducing 15-year-old Peggy Stone.
