Up for sale is an original vintage theatre programme from WWII 1943 WOLVERHAMPTON HIPPODROME THEATRE PROGRAMME – “SONS O’ FUN”
An original, rare World War II era theatrical programme from the Wolverhampton Hippodrome (General Theatre Corporation Ltd). This authentic piece of wartime entertainment ephemera documents the production run for the week commencing Monday, April 19th, 1943.
Presented by Leslie Grade, this historic variety revue features a packed lineup of legendary British music hall, radio, and variety stars of the 1940s.
PRODUCTION & VARIETY ACT DETAILS:

• Venue: Wolverhampton Hippodrome, West Midlands
• Date: Monday, April 19th, 1943 (With usual performances on Good Friday)
• Star Lineup: Features the legendary comedy duo Charlie Naughton and Jimmy Gold (“Naughton & Gold”), iconic original members of The Crazy Gang.
